Today we celebrate World Tourism Day, which this year is themed “Tourism and the Sustainable Transition.” It is a great opportunity to look at travel from a new perspective—one that is responsible and respectful of the world around us.

World Tourism Day is an annual celebration that inspires people to explore the world and encourages them to reflect on the impact of tourism on culture, the economy, and the environment. In 2025, Malaysia is the official host of the event, and the theme is “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation.” Today, the tourism industry around the world is focused on implementing innovative, environmentally friendly solutions and promoting responsible practices to protect our shared heritage.

Pomorskie celebrates tourism locally

In the Pomorskie region, the celebrations do not end on September 27! On October 10, the local tourism industry will meet to celebrate and discuss the future of tourism in the Pomorskie Province. This is a unique opportunity to share experiences, inspire new activities, and work together to build the brand of Pomorskie as a friendly, modern, and sustainable place.
